My New Hummingbird Friend

I recently installed a hummingbird feeder in my bird blind/sanctuary/food court. My efforts were quickly rewarded when a female Black-chinned bird arrived and is now a regular visitor.

Hummingbirds are fascinating creatures. I could watch and photograph them for hours and often do. They are difficult to photograph, however, because of their size and speed and the less than ideal lighting in the bird blind. But, I’m learning and pleased with the image I have to share with you.
